Welcome to Fall Beginner Women's and Men's Learn to Play/Beginner Leagues! This teaching session will be played at Gardner Park in Lockland and will run on 4 Saturdays in October from 10am-12pm.

We run these two leagues separately but side-by-side, one side for women's and one side for men's.

This league is for beginner men and women-matching players, inclusive of all gender identities. It's a great teaching league to get out and play, learn and improve on your ultimate skills, and meet other players in the community. Our focus will be on getting lots of playing time for everyone and sharing skills and techniques to elevate each other’s level of play. 

This league is 4 sessions, meeting once a week on Saturdays. Each session will involve some skill instruction followed by playing a game of ultimate. 

Some of the skills we will teach: 

• Offensive & Defensive strategies commonly found in ultimate
• Instruction & Correction on proper throwing forms
• Rules & Nuances of the game of Ultimate

All players receive a new disc! 

It takes place at the same time and location as a Youth Learn to Play Clinic, so parents and kids alike can come and learn the basics of ultimate for 4 weeks. If you're a parent who already knows how to play, there's also regular casual pickup you can join. So no matter the parent/child ultimate dynamic, there's something for everyone!
