CUPA has now established a new Corporate Ultimate League as part of the Summer League Lineup!  We're very excited to have a league tailored towards teams formed by co-workers and established groups.  This will give us a chance to spread the sport to new individuals who enjoy participating in team sports, but maybe haven't been exposed to Ultimate before, and also give those who already play Ultimate a chance to be part of a work team.  

For those who have played in the other CUPA summer leagues, please note that this is a different location.  

A minimum roster of 10 players will be required to register for this league, 3 of which must be women.  Each team will be capped at 20 players.  If you have more than 16 it is recommended that you recruit a few more and form two teams to ensure playing time for each member.  No more than 4 subs will be allowed per regular game, and we will follow the rec league tournament rules.  Exceptions may be made only for teams who would otherwise be unable to field a team.  

Please contact Alison Weekley in order to register a team.  Please attach a roster, give a team name, and include a shirt color preference.  I will assign colors in the order in which I receive them, and reserve the right to select an alternate if the one indicated is not available or has already been chosen by another team.  Once the team is formed, individual members must register online.

If you want to create a team, you must submit a roster to league director Liz Keuffer listing 10 players (2 of them must be women).Teams will be created in the order rosters are received (up to 12 teams).  Once a team is created, players must then register to join it.   Team size is determined by the captain.  Teams may have no more than 6 club/college players*. There will be strict enforcement of the 5/2 gender ratio.  There will be absolutely no subs allowed for the tournament.

Free agent players who want to play on Tuesday are encouraged to contact team captains about joining a team.  We can't guarantee anyone a spot who is not affiliated with a team.  We encourage you to sign up on Wednesdays if you can't find a team to play with.

Players cannot play both Tuesday and Wednesday.  Players must be at least 14 years old or 13 years old if playing with a parent.   Team captains must be at least 21 years old.

  We are currently not creating any new teams for Wednesday night (it filled up for teams within 48 hours). Players can still register on their own with a team or as a free agent. If you want to play with a group of friends, please contact league director Liz Keuffer.  Teams can have no more than 3 club/college players* and must be sure they have enough women to play a 5/2 gender ratio**.  At the discretion of the League Director, as registration progresses, smaller teams may have free agent players assigned to them or may be joined with other small teams to ensure an even number of teams and to ensure everyone who wants to play is on a team.  Free agent players are encouraged to sign up for Wednesday nights.  No guys will be allowed to sub for the tournament.  Women subs will be allowed at the discretion of the League Director**.

  SUB POLICY FOR TUES & WED NIGHTS

  Subs will be for teams that have fewer than 10 guy players/3 women players. If you have this many players, NO SUBS!!!  If you think you'll be low, you can recruit, but everyone will go into the same sub pool, doled out by the league director.  The director will only send out subs when requested by a captain - you'll have to let the director know you need a sub by 6:25. Subs will sign in, and they'll get sent out in that order. So the subs you recruit may or may not play for you. Women subs: if you have 3 women, then no subs unless you know for sure they can't play a full game. Then you get 1 sub, if we have them.

Description

This year we want to build on the improvements to the competitive level of CUPA's Thursday night co-ed summer league. This league is intended for experienced players who are looking for high level ultimate. If this is what you are looking for, then we certainly encourage you to sign up. If this doesn't sound like something that you would be interested in, then we recommend that you consider one of the other spectacular summer league opportunities that CUPA provides. Thursday night will hopefully be an opportunity for Cincinnati's best players to compete on the ultimate field. Hope to see you out there!
